Adriana Cortese | 25 years designing packaging

What lessons should we learn to design successful packaging? Adriana Cortese is the Executive Creative Director of the tridimage agency, responsible for inspiring, leading and motivating strategic and creative teams to develop branding and packaging design solutions.

In 1995 he founded tridimage together with Virginia Gines and Hernán Braberman. Tridimage was the first agency in Latin America to merge structural and graphic packaging design.

In this episode we talk about the secret recipe for leading a design agency with 25 years of experience. He also told me what is the biggest mistake brands make when they redesign their packaging, and explained why we should always look at packaging from three dimensions.

His background is in industrial design and visual communication. He also oriented his career towards research and teaching design.

His designs have been awarded six Pentawards, known as the Oscar for packaging design, Vertex awards, A’Design, Ameristar, Sello de Buen Diseño, POPAI, Estrella del Sur and Pack Andina.
